Internship opportunities are available for master’s level students interested in gaining experience across a variety of program services: Substance Use Disorder, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Adult Mental Health, and Children, Youth, and Family Services. Internships may be available in all programs listed above.
Master’s level internships may also include opportunities in our state renowned Drug Court Program; Same Day Access for children, youth, and adults; and assisting in our state hospital discharge program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shadow and observe clinical personnel.
- Attend staff meetings, supervision appointments, and service coordination activities.
- Provide ongoing support alongside clinical personnel during face-to-face reviews, same day access assessments, group settings, individual therapy sessions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- May be exposed to allergenic environments in client’s homes, including extreme heat, humidity, dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Must be able to drive for long periods of time to visit clients as needed.
- Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at a time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate/Master-level student in an accredited program.
- Interest in working across a diverse set of programs in a community mental health setting.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and the ability to provide own transportation.
